Wearing Your Baby at Big Belly Services
This class will teach you (and your partner or other support person) the basics of baby carriers, including construction and safety, and how to wear many different styles. Katy will demonstrate wraps, slings, Asian style carriers and soft structured carriers in a variety of positions appropriate for newborns through 4 months. You will be given an opportunity to try on carriers with a doll or your new baby. This class is best suited for expectant parents or parents with newborns; if you are interested in wearing an older baby, please stay tuned for classes designed specifically for wearing the older baby and child. Carriers will be available to purchase at the end of class, and handouts will include a list of other local and online vendors.
